What’s real in the hills

These are publicly reported goat-adjacent stories from the Ozarks as of late August 2026. The articles in this packet are fictional pieces that riff on these facts.

Fair-circuit dairy goats, Ava, Missouri

Ozark’s Treasured Acres Farm (Nigerian Dwarf and Sable dairy goats, ADGA/AGS/NDGA) wrapped 2026 kidding with two late doelings born while the family was at the fair: Ozark’s TAF H Mayhem and Ozark’s TAF H Midway, out of Cr’eme De Menthe and Hardee. Hardee was lost earlier in the year. At shows this month, Ozark’s TAF BF Selene went Grand Champion Nigerian Dwarf. Other farm goats took junior championships at the Ozark Empire Fair and ribbons at the Missouri State Fair.
